Rwanda Brings Innovation!

This year I started exploring innovation. I took a course called Innovation and Design Thinking and learning to think inside the box. That's right. Not outside. I discovered that some of our best creative work comes when we work within guidelines or limitations. This course was eye-opening for me. It changed the way I looked at creativity and allowed me to see limitations as guidelines instead of barriers.

You can image how thrilled I was to photograph another innovative thinker for Fast Company. Every year they do a write up on "The Worlds 50 Most Innovative Companies". Do you know what the icing on the cake was? My shoot was with Rwandan's fashion maven Scorpio Ramazani Khoury and fashion house Made in Kigali. Three things to love: innovation, Rwanda, and fashion.
